All the materials contained in my deviantART gallery may not be reproduced, copied, tubed, edited, published, transmitted or uploaded to any site, including Photobucket and Myspace, without my written permission. I do however, give permission for the small thumbnail version to be displayed in DeviantART journals as a feature. Comments very nice. i love it all. just curious how many layers did you use. the colours defiantly give a relaxing, maybe even soft feel. again just an awesome image.

Critiques
One thing that distracts me, though, is the color of the skin. Compared with the magnificent blues, it just looks dull. Probably the problem is with the stock image you've chosen but I feel you should have made it paler, to fit the mood, and added some reds to balance the blue.
Also, the visual impact would have been stronger if you'd left the violin red, even made it a deeper red that it must have been in the photo. Contrast is one of the basic techniques used in order to make a color scheme more "spicy".
Oh, and I should mention that your use of glow and the details of the fairies are really impressive.
