Wow... o.o ... So pretty.
I'm going to critique. As I'm not subscribed, I can only offer to critique you as a comment. I'm sorry. My Critique: The lighting is beautiful. The soft light from the back, and from the lamp is simply stunning. The border is great - the leaf brushes suit with the forest theme, and (I could be mistaken) continues throughout the image. The colours are awesome, and the green (or is it blue?) goes well with the trees - even though there appears to be no other source of green in the image. We, as the viewer, know that there is massive amounts of green in forests, and so the green of her dress gives us the green that we are searching for. Personally, my eyes are drawn to the lamp that she is holding. Looking closely, I can see that it's a flame. Or is it? I was positive when I first saw it that she'd captured a fairy and was using the fairy-glow as the light. All together, I congratulate you on your achievement with this image. Beatifully done, beautifully portrayed, and a piece that shan't be forgotten easily. -- I am worth $1,613,058 In life you always have a choice. Sometimes it's easier to think you don't. You can feel the anxiety and caution in the womans face, yet the curiosity to go on to the unknown, holding just a single lamplight.
The blue glow in the surrounding forest gives mysterious and enchanting feeling to the forest, while the shadows and the tall trees help to amplify the deadly silence and spookiness our protagonist probably experiences.
The tree trunk in the front gives an extra depth to the image which further completes this fantastic scenery.
I tried hard out of curiosity to find a single flaw on this one but I was out of luck
Excellent Work!
